Default iic dates

hey all: Just curious at to why the '08 iic dates were moved up from september to august? Was it done so it wouldn't conflict with the ifmar 1/8th off road nitro buggy worlds? Thanks

It was more due I believe to the venue change. I think that was the only dates the Riviera had available.

Do I need to have a concern on how I cut out my new body for the race? I heard at the 08 Nat's, there was some rules about how they were cut height wise. Do you guys measure the wing to roof height only?

The body more or less has to be even with the chassis and the wing even or lower then the roof. They pass a ride height bar under the car and if anything catches at all you have either trim or raise the car.
