good luck.
I hate one-way because my driving style sucks at one-way. I know with high traction with lots of turns this is the way to go using one-way, maintain lots of corner speed. I think I have a one-way somewhere or do I?

Cool FOAM TIRES FOR DUMMIES!

O.K.,
One more question. Do you run 27mm wide or the 30mm wide foam tires in 1/10 sedan.
I borrowed my friends foam tires to make sure they clear, but he asked me what width tires do they run 27mm or 30mm! I said, I don't know?
The 27mm fit but the 30mm, definitely won't fit. So which is it?
Thanks in advance:
Max

Hello everyone, Well I am back to this side of the planet after a couple crazy weeks of traveling and I want to get everyone up to speed on some things that we have been working on during my absence. Things are progressing very well as we continue to prepare for the event. Our team has already finished the new boards for the track and many of the things we need to run the event are already prepared. I will be going out the the Riviera hotel in the next couple of weeks to finalize the floor plan. T shirt is already being designed by Dusty Kemp plus all the other things we have to do behind the scenes are rolling right along.

Motors- As I mentioned before, the interest in the handout brushless motors for this years IIC has been great. Most of the companies in our industry have shown interest in being involved in the event. With this large amount of interest, it made if very difficult to choose only 1 motor for all the classes of handouts. so what we have decided to do is as follows. Each class will have a specific handout brushless motor for that class. The list is as follows.

Amateur 17.5 = Team Orion
1/12th 17.5 = Speed Passion
13.5 Foam = Hacker
13.5 Rubber = Novak
World GT = LRP

The official part numbers to these motors will be posted on the intchamps site soon.

After working on this for a long time, all the manufactures are looking forward to this first ever handout brushless event. Each company providing handout motors will have a representative set up to assist with any questions or help a racer will need during the event.

Each racer will receive 1 motor with their registration. You will have the option of purchasing a second motor for the event, this price will be announced later, but it will be less than you could find anywhere.

As we have read during the past since our announcement of the handout motors, we have read everyone's opinion on the handout brushless idea, but as an organizer I feel this is the best way to provide the fairest and smoothest running event we can offer you.

That is the latest and greatest for now. I will keep everyone updated as we move closer to the event. As always if anyone has any questions, please let us know.

Have a great 4th of July.
Scotty

Just re reading some of the post during my absence and wanted to chime in.

Amateur. Yes Adam is allowed in Amateur- yes he works at Schumacher, but that does not make him ineligible from running this division, he is not a team driver for them.

Tires, We will be using Jaco Rubberz tires again for this event and they will be on the new Prism rims. As for the compound we will be using, that info will be announced as soon as we can.

Thats it for now. Sun is coming up and it is time for me to go to bed.

Thanks
Scotty

Very interesting decision on the handout BL motors. At least that way all the major players get to represent at IIC. I guess I will be the first one in my area with a Hacker motor.

Thanks for the info Scotty! I love the motor idea. Its like a race inside a race - allowing all the companies to show their stengths and weaknesses. Man I cant wait to get their and do some racing.

HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!!

On the Novak handout motors, can we use the the Novak heatsink that replaces the center ring?
