The endbell looks a lot like the Novaks with the periodical indentation on it. But when the Novak's are new these indentations are evenly spaced from the solder tabs etc. On the Hacker its already twisted around quite along way?

Thanks

I'll answer my own question

It woud appear that despite the position of the timing ring the motor had 30deg of timing as standard.

I have since been told that '0' timing from most manufactures is typically 30 deg.

This is 30deg;

have not had a motor before that was so hard to adjust timing!

I thought at first the timing were not adjustable, however after carefully seperating the plastic ring from the can after wedging a knife in between, was it finally adjustable.

Questions??

Could somebody tell me how many KVs rating in the Hacker 10.5T?

In fact in english site, it says it has 3080KV, like that 1 of Losi which his derived from the same factory.
But in the german site, it said it really has 3500KV.
Then please somebody tell me which 1 is real.
In fact i want to have a sensored motor to race in 3100 class in my site.

Best regards

Hello
I am looking at adding a 10.5 and a17.5 to my stable of motors.
I am currently running a MAMBA MAX PRO with LRP/Tekin and Speed Passion 2 10.5 and LRP and Speed Passion 2 17.5.
Looking at these 4 Motors combos

Hacker E40 - 10.5 -3500kv - 320 watts -25900 rpm
17.5 -2070kv - 210 watts - 15318rpm

Tekin 10.5 - 4500kv - 243 watts - 33300rpm
17.5 - 2500kv - 131 watts - 18500 rpm

LRP x12 10.5 - 3600kv - 306watts - 26640 rpm
17.5 - 2200kv - 183 watts - 16280rpm

Novak Balistic - 10.5 - 4200kv - 235watts - 31080rpm
17.5- 2200kv - 130watts - 16280rpm

Now in saying all of this the tracks that i run on are medium to large and technical to flowing So will the Hacker do the job.
Steven.

Anyone know what other rotors besodes the "hacker" brand I could use in my E40?
I know this is an old thread, but someone might know!
I bought the motor used, and I think the rotor is bent.
I've been racing with it, and it can still pull with the shiny new Tekins and Novaks, but it's just god-awful loud!
Even spinning it by hand it makes an aweful racket.
It doesn't help that I'm running 32P gears on my 2WD Slash either haha

But while I have money, I'd like to get a replacement rotor, I really like this motor!

And what's the diameter make a difference in? Speed?, torque? I have no idea.

I've tried installing the rotor from my Ballistic, but it's too long.
