Default RC10T4 Got Wet

Hey guys, just bought my son a Team Associated RC10t4 Truck for his birthday, and everything was going great until he ran into a puttle of water.. Now the truck light goes on but it won't start. Any advice from you all? Geez just got it yesterday.. Peace

Most probably your electronics has water in them. Electricity and water don't mix!!

Take your electronics out from the car can open it up. Take a hair dryer to blow dry all the electrionics. Reinstall and hope for the best.

If you get the same results, you might have shorted the ESC. So just replace what ever electronics is damage. The car should be ok mechanically.

Sorry to read about the bad luck mate.
My son had a similar hic-up, speedy died
Like Ben.C said use a hairdryer (on low), to dry all the electrics. Is your speed contrler waterproof ? If not, get one! As for the reciver, put it in a baloon or something like it to make it safer to run through puddels, not much ya can do about the motor, just remember its a car, not a boat.

on the flip side, it might just be a sticky brush where the water has got onto the commutator.

Take the motor out, then one of the springs and clean the brush. repeat for the other side and pray it all hooks up again
