In Sedan Mod; to watch David pull a couple of more feet on Ralph each lap was awe inspiring.

In Sedan 19turn and Stock; to watch Ron run away was.. ummm.. expected

In 1/12th stock; to watch Jason lap me (with me in 2nd none the less) was ... FRUSTRATING

I think I'll pick up an air mattress or two for you guys; let me know if you ever need a place to crash (and I have the couches too).

You heading back down here next weekend Jason?

Cheers,
Geek

A couple of us from KC are planning a trip down there after the Snowbirds. Sounds like a great facility to race at. Plus some really good competition.

Ron, what are the numbers you are seeing on the new shorter GP cells. I see on the web-site there is nothing listed over 1.169. So I am curious as to what the IR and run time numbers are like know. I hear they are higher.

Thanks,

I think I can safely say that the voltage fell about 0.005 and IR's and runtime stayed the same. The only reason why there are no 1.17's on the web is because he sold over 100 packs this weekend to the hobbyshop we were racing at and they took all the stage 3's. There are already more cases of batteries on the way so there will be more in stock in 2 weeks I believe.

Yea I couldn't believe how well the Kinetix batteries sold this past weekend. I don't think I saw a battery from one other matcher missing from the display!! Of course, when you consider how well Kinetix batteries did at the race and how much customer support Ron gave the whole weekend it's not hard to understand why the Texas guys support him so well.

Speaking of customer support, I personally saw Ron help at least fifty people that had battery questions. I even saw him helping people who owned other matcher's batteries. Not that he shouldn't help them, but he gave them the same amount of time as he did his own customers. And he didn't just give them an answer, he explained why and how so they could better understand how to keep their batteries in good condidtion. All you guys that are rctech regulars know that I don't pull any punches and I don't kiss no booties so you know that I wouldn't brag on Ron if he didn't deserve it.

I picked up 3 of the Stage 3 packs myself

All 1.17+ and 423 seconds.

Ron: when you have a sec can you drop me an email about that tray you showed me/let me try out; I can't remember for the life of me whom you said makes it...

cheers,
Edward

Geek, I believe it was the Rayspeed discharger. Speedtech might sell it- not sure.

Yup.. that's the one. Speedtech is out of stock; anyone know where I might find one? The only one I've found online in stock is in hong kong... I'd rather buy domestically.

Ron: you want a "KINETIX BATTERIES" themed one for your GFX?

GEEK -- Try and call Yokomo direct. Faceplate , sure !

Crash -- The shorter cell is producing about .005 lower voltage on average , ir about the same possably a little lower, and run time is up about 8 seconds on average .

Very nice Geek!!!

Funny things I remember from Mike's-

- nicknamed Cody Tapeworm
- Toastie was bragin on his new Fantom "bling bling" dyno so he instantly became my comm skimming bitch- LMAO
- the look on Mark Lowrey's face when I asked him for a mtoor that WOULD pull a greasy string out of a cat's a$$
- choking back the laughter with Shawn and Kyle when the guy I offered to true tires for told me his 12th scale setup sheet said to true the fronts 1.90" and the rears 1.60"!!!!!
- nicknamed Mr. Toth (Toastie's Dad) Richard Noggin!!!!
