Question for all you RRoC history buffs ...is Billy Bowerman the oldest guy to make the modified A main?

Hummmm, Gil Losi Jr. made the A-main in 2002 I believe when the reedy race was held at Ripon Speedway.

Think it was the proline tire that need to be mounted after a lot of insert work. Not sure what year it was.

First ever controlled tire was the Proline H13 and Barry used the Pit inserts. Most of us caught on later and used echo inserts dremeled down.

Default 2008 REEDY!

I want to thank and congradulate those that made this years Reedy Race of Champions a tremendous event.

Thanks to the fine folks at Reedy Electronics for continuing to stage this event - one of the most prestigious annual on-road races in North America - if not "The" most prestigious. Mike Reedy: we missed seeing you there. It's an honour for us to be involved as an associate sponsor.

Billy Bowerman - thanks for all the hard work you did to put it all together the way you did. Nice facility and a nice atmosphere at the track all weekend. I hope the race returns there next year. Thanks also for your hospitality too.

Scotty, Boomer, Jamie, Buck & Jeff - nice work and announcing as always. You guys never miss a beat, and never disappoint.

Xreme RC and RC Car Action Magazines: thanks for sending out Mike, Carl and Joel to cover the race.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A big thanks! to all the racers who supported Protoform Race Bodies. (they swept the entire event!!!!) It was the first race I've been able to attend in a full year - and it really felt great to finally be back.
A big congradulations to the 13.5 Class TQ: Kyle Bergstom and Winner: Larry Fairtrace.
Kudos also to "TOP" open mod racer Kevin Jelick for your awsome TQ and Win.
Atsushi: it was great to see you finally achieve the overall Invitational Win after many years of being oh so close.

I'm already looking forward to the 2009 Reedy Race.

Electric ? Hummm, after watching the reedy race on liveRC and seeing all the competition, maybe soon. We'll have to wait and see. I don't have any electric stuff other than my chargers and power supply. Starting with zero is hard enough as it is; especially during this time and age of a sluggish ecomony.
