We are proud to announce the 2008 Reedy Race of Champions will be held May 22,23,24,25th 2008 at SpeedWorld Raceway in RoseVille CA, near Sacramento.
Format and schedule for the event will remain as it has for many years.
Thurs- 22nd 4 rounds of practice by heats
Friday- 23rd 4 rounds of practice by heats
Sat. -24th 3 round quals ... 4 invite rounds
Sun. -25th 1 round quals. Triple A's ,4 invite rounds

YES! Thanks to all the people behind the scenes for making this happen. The Reedy Race is one of my favorite races and Speedworld is one of my favorite tracks. What a great combination! I can't wait! I hope I don't get beat up on too badly in the Open Class. Hehe!
How have you been bro? You back on the scene now? What ride you rockin' these days?

Hello everyone, thank you for all the kind words and Tracy and I are extremely excited for the Reedy Race and looking forward in seeing all you racers and long time friends once again along with all the International drivers. We are excited to meet all the new racers that have not been to our race facility and excited to have this chance on meeting more new friends form around the world.
Our house is your house as long as you keep it clean, LOL.
The New track and re-model is coming along as planed with a ton of hard work and long hours from 4 of my dearest dedicated friends. It is starting to look more awesome every day. I will have pictures up on Tuesday to show the progress and hope you will get more excited and pump you up even more for this prestige’s race and the trip to SpeedWorld.
I will not mention anything without Scotty approval but just to let you know that SpeedWorld is in Roseville Ca, it is in a nice clean little city about 15 minutes east of Sacramento and 30 seconds from the Roseville police station, you will see the police station at is some of our pictures of the facility.
The police station is bigger than the city, I do not know if that is a bad or good thing, LMAO.
I will get together on a schedule for practice days and club race days for you electric racers that are planning to come and practice or club race at SpeedWorld.
We race Nitro 1/10 scale at our facility, so it will look like that practice and race days for Electric will be on Friday’s and Saturday’s ONLY. 1/10 scale Nitro race and practice on Sunday’s ONLY. I will get with our Nitro guys out of respect to them and see if a couple weekends later in April and begging of May that they are willing to give up their every other weekend practice on Sundays for the electric guys to practice and to prepare for the Reedy race. SpeedWorld has some great Nitro events planned for 2008 also, so the favor will be returned after the Reedy to the Nitro guys.
You can go to www.speedworldraceway.com for more information on practice and club racing, electric or nitro. I will update and have a menu on our SpeedWorld site that is just for the Reedy Race. Any info that I put on the site for the Reedy will be approved by Scotty’s or Team Associated/Reedy before posting. There will be an address on our site where you can send all your boxes ahead of schedule so you will not have to carry so much equipment on the plane.
There is some okay hotels and there are plenty of super nice hotels within 10 minutes of the track. There 100’s of every kind of food restaurants within 10 minutes of the track and near the hotels that you will be staying at to dine at night and party. You are 2 minutes away from Saturday night Asphalt 3/8 mile race track that is NASCAR sanctioned with late models and I.M.C.A. modifieds racing that night also. You are 2 hours from San Francisco, 2 hours from Reno Nevada and Lake Tahoe. We have a beautiful Casino with a really nice buffet inside 10 minutes from the track or your hotel you will be staying at. There is a ton of things for your family if they come with you and get bored at the track minutes away. There is also R.V. hook up about 300 yards from the track for you travelers and I think it is $35.00 a night. I will check and have that on our Reedy info site in the next week.
