There were whispers by an anonymous source (hint- Airbrush Expert) in So. Cal back in November of the shaft drive car... I guess prototyping is moving along well

Well you know BLAZN would just say it was only a warm up......and to some extent I would have to agree with him. No body ever pays any attention to who wins these warm up races, simply because all the racers don't attend them. Especially when their held somewhere like South Africa! That would mean the companies would have to send their top drivers all the way there, TWICE in one year. And most teams probably aren't willing to do that.

In any case, its good to see HPI having some good fortune and doing some winning.

So whats this stuff about a shaft drive HPI? My buddy is a big HPI fan and I'm sure he'd love to know more.

true, not all the big names were there, but with Adachi, Tosolini, Masami and Spashette (sp?)....there was plenty enough competition....

but as BlaZ would say "It wasn't with the PRO3" yada yada yada.....

Osherman: good point. With all those names there, it definitely means something to win it.

Well it wouldn't matter to BlaZ whether it was the Pro3 or a new prototype, remember he says all HPI stuff is junk.

Ian- if your motor performs anything like a 19turn spec mod then I would try 6.9 thru 7.5 final drive- then do the normal routine of watching for heat build up and checking for 5 min run times etc...

Default More suspension tweaking ?'s

Can anyone explain a few things to me.......

First, what does it do to the car when you adjust the camber link settings (i.e, top or bottom holes on hub carriers and shock towers)

My second question is about castor. What will more or less give me? I'm using the stock 8 degree up front and the zero's in back. What will the new 3 and 4 degree blocks give me?

Lastly, what do the blocks in front of the A-arms adjust? (1-2-9, 2-2-9 etc...)

Thanks for any help!!!!!!!

dang! the upper deck really does make a difference. i accidently left the rear screws in it almost backed out all the way because i forgot to tighten them and there was super flex! i didnt used to realize it, but man there is a lot.

cant wait to get to racing. i just bought my house in roseville, ca. i am only like 5 minutes away from the track.

how should i gear my mvp? right now i am running 24/87(48 pitch) i am wanting to switch to 64 pitch. so if someone could just give me a good starting point that would be great. thanks guys

Kurt,

I ran outdoors this past Sunday and ran a 38/108 with a P2k2...not sure how that measures with your motor, but hopefully a starting point...
