HI,

I'm currently rebuilding for fun, a Pro 3 that I bought from someone. I've found that you can get some parts for it at tower hobbies ( graphite chassis, bulkheads, etc). Has anyone tried that yet.

So basically you are piecing together a Hara car? Are there still places that still sell Pro 3's?

I guess its a Hara Pro 3. I only saw a bad picture of it on the Japanese site. I haven't seen anyone selling the kit whole. I was able to purchase the graphite chassis, the aluminum front bulkheads, aluminum upper plate and the aluminum mid pully mount at tower hobbies. I know there are people selling some of those parts on ebay.
Its really an expiriment. A local racer I know has a JRXS and we were curious how the two cars handled, seeing as how the two designs are similar, in concept at least.

You should be able to get one for like 10 bucks now. I thought it was a good car when they put the graphite upper and lower chassie. Its was a fast car but everyone said they hated it so much people did not even what to try it out. I would buy another of the hara edition if i could find one.

I think rc zombie from R/C Tech had the badest looking Pro 3 I have ever seen. I would look for a post of his as he has pics posted of his cars. It was dialed and even to this date I would take the one he had!!!!!!!!

Yeah and they where cool looking. Hell Hara was winning with those when the TC3 and XXX-S where out so I bet he could still do it with versions of the Pro3 like that. If that was the car HPI made for the first Pro3 they might still have been racing it today. If they improved on that version they would of really had something in my opinion.

I just bought some hop ups for my 4 Pro 3's from rcboyz on Ebay. I am doing the same thing....putting one togehter with many hop ups to run against the latest just to see how the car will holdup. Two of my 4 cars have graphite chassis...shock towers....alu bulkheads...graphite top plate...front one way....rear alu support....on and on. These cars catch alot of flack but at club races can hold their own against many drivers tht have the latest bling car but just can't drive them very well. Maybe once I finish my lates project I will post pics....and other owners of Pro 3's should do the same.

Just bought a couple of cheapy pro 3's and both have sooo much purple and carbon fibre, standard it looks plain and ugly but with the Hara parts are bolted on i must say it's one of the nicest looking tc's i've owned, hope it handles though

May be breaking one of the Haras down for parts so if anyone is in need of a part i may have it.
