Did you check your pinion teeth for debris as I previously suggested. I know FOR SURE that this will cause a clicking sound as it has happened to me and other racers when racing in an area that might have fine sand particles. I cannot tell for sure, but if you look at the first picture you posted it looks like possibly there is something in between the pinion gear teeth close to the area where it meshes with the spur in the picture. This may only be the motor can showing through but is something else for you to check.

i did it!!!! no more clicking!!!!yup!!! there was something stuck in the pulley!!!!(lol!!! i took the whole diffs apart first b4 checking the most obvious one!!)

You don't need them - you can use them as an extra tuning aid if you like.

You will only need swaybars if you're racing on high traction tracks or carpet. Also:
If you have too much rear traction install rear sway bars. This will increase steering.
the same for the front... too much steering install the swaybars..you gain rear traction.
These are the basics...
For dusty, bumpy tracks... no swaybars are recommened.

I have done back to back testing and currently like to run a Front Swaybar (soft) as the Car feels more stable with it. I have NOT noticed any loss of Steering with the Bar hooked up.

The Bars on the Pro-3 are a little bit better designed than some of HPI's earlier efforts.

pops, i tend to agree with you, the sway bars dont seem to take away, or alter the grip balance as they do on my other car (xray).. they seem to make the pro 3 alot better in response though.. so i normally leave them on..

on another note, i have finished the work on my pro 3 ... looks like a hara now.. almost.. the drive train is too tight for serious racing though.. ill post pics when i eventually get some taken mmkays..

i just got a new HB upper deck!!!my LHS sold it to me for $10(thats for both)..i was thinking of getting the penguin chassis set too, will it still fit in?

Guys;

Went out to the local 1/8th scale track and practiced today with a 19T for the first time. The track was very dusty (wind) so traction was less than perfect, but all in all the Car drove pretty nice. None of my Buddies who have 19T experience were pulling me.
