Yep the 1/12 scale is comin':
Serpent S120
Serpent’s first entry into the resurgent 1/12th scale 2wd pan car class, the S120 sports a one piece CNC machined aluminium rear pod, central main-shock combined with S120 lateral monoshock. Other innovations include a centrally mounted tweak adjuster as well as adjustable front suspension with independent upper a-arms and pivot ball mounted steering blocks. High quality carbon fibre and glass fibre components are used throughout as well as machined aluminium parts.

I don't know about Serpent. I live in the area of the Berton factory and I have seen so many projects come and go during the years. They are the biggest name in 1/8 nitro onroad and won many titles with those cars but they have also tried to market a 1/8 buggy which didnt sell because the big names in offroad were/are still Kyosho and Mugen, better one of the employees was racing a...........MUGEN at that time! In 1/10 electric onroad the big names are racing Asso, Tamiya, Yokomo and Xray. I think Serpent/Berton has to do a lot of testing/experience in the electric world before they can compete with the earlier named manufacturers.

Sorry, but do you know about what you are talking??
With the S400 Billy made both mains at the Snowbirds, Bart and me almost made the main too, just Bart and me made stupid mistakes in the last qualifier.
With a pretty small team we just found out too late what to do to our cars.
Bart won even the 19T rubber class at the Birds.
And I am pretty damn sure, that S120 will be a great car and competitive from the start on.

I do not want to start any discussion with you here.
You simply have no background info on any of those new projects....
so how can you judge?!

hey all:The new serpent 120 1/12th on road car looks realy nice and it brings up a few things.First is sepent offering a 12th on road car just so team drivers can have same brand loyalty or do they feel this class is so popular now that they want to capitalize on it?Finally with jeff cuffs back with corally are there any american drivers other than billy easton on the seprent team that are running electric? Thanks
