There's some guys driving Hb Cyclones in South Florida, and they've about had it with parts support from HB.

They've tested TC5 as well and love them. Good cars, and parts are found pretty much everywhere.

even 7-11 has parts for the TC5:)

Wonder if Barry has tried out his new car yet?

STLNLST 07-29-2008 02:20 PM

I only switched because I didn't like the TC5 on carpet with rubber tires but no more carpet around here so going back to the TC5 next season wouldn't be a bad thing.

You're still KING:blush:

So is this E4 car pretty good? Do you think that Barry will be able to wheel it?

its good lots of corner speed but it still needs a lot of development for brushless and lipo:) (not too much room to move the motor)

He has the G4RS to worry about now..(World in 2 weeks)...but I heard he's got the FS ready so right after the world, he will be all over the E4 prepare for IIC.

About the E4....do you guys think any motor using on the E4, the temperature will be higher then those that mount the motor on the side (xray, schumacher, hotbodys...etc)...solution is using a heatsink with 2 fans..? True?

I recently purchased the E4JS which is the budget version. Battery loads from the top and LiPos fit well (I have a TrakPower 4900 in it now).

Yes there is very little room for BL motor movement. Need to have lots of spur and pinion gears to come up with the right FDR and still have proper gear mesh. I guess the best way to describe it is the motor is almost in a "POD" compartment. Brushed motors would probably be no problem though. :(

And the car is really light. Have to add a lot more weight to get it up to 1525g.

Just waiting on my 17.5BL motor, but I am hoping I get to run it for the first time this Saturday in a series race at Carolinas RC in Charlotte, NC. :D
