What do you just build the shocks and put your electronics in? |

that's how the old xpress cars were, 90ish% assembled.
wolf's not a bad guy, i met him years ago at my local track, didn't know he was racing again (i've been out of the game since sept.) if you need a local to "stress test" that car, LMK ;) |
I was also happily surprised it came assembled.

The shocks come assembled. You just have to add the oil. I'm looking for a second car...this may be it... |

Well since I had a short minute I thought I would update everyone on the car. I did a quick nut and bolt and found 5 loose screws and two stripped out in the front bulkhead. :( They probably would have been fine but I took them out and put a drop of glue in with them and put it back together. Aside from that the Diffs are super smooth and looking at the instruction manual it looks like they are built like associateds off road car diffs. :) Also the suspension arms have zero binding in them unlike what you find alot of the times. :p I have to say the hardware on this kit is second to none the only thing is you better have a 2.0mm allen. Almost everything on the kit is a 2.0mm. I really like this as its really easy to work on the car since you only need one tool, the hardware and size is going to make it almost impossible to ever strip the head of a bolt.  The only down fall to that is I have zero bolts in my bin that will work on this car. Another cool thing on this car is the ball cups. They work and move like a standard ball cup but come with the top half cut out so you can remove the ball stud with out popping off the ball cup very cool.

my car was awesome today!! even tried the one-way for the 1st time ever running with a one-way, the car was very fast and very consistance, i ended up running AE gold springs in the front and AE blues in the rear and a home made 1.6 sway bar (donated from a HB Cyclone) also switched to 35w oil front and rear. The car carried alot of corner speed very fast in the infield. Ill have the set up posted in a little bit once i get everything written down.
