Would it be wise for someone with only a little over a year racing TC to go to the birds next month???
I love this car and it blows my old TC5 away right out of the box. I just have not had much experience on carpet with rubber tires as there is not a track close by . Mostly have run on asphalt this past year and was always fighting my car, no problem with that now!!! Just curious to get some input. Thanks! |

Thanks mate!
although that speedy is no longer :( it smoked up after 5 runs with a SP 4.0 Have gone back to my trusty SP GT 1.1 :D Is anbody using the K factory shocks on their car? how do they compare to the kit shocks. also i am having a problem with my diff after each run it loosens itself off and i need to tighten it. anybody else have the same problem? |
I found that the plastic diff wasnt able to hold up durring hard acceleration and was slipping. Probably the same issue you had but when I took it out I noticed that the head of the diff screw was on the right hand side of the car. So upon replacing it with the metal diff I flipped it over so the diff screw head was on the left side rear like all my TRF 416. and I seem to have solved that issue... for now anyways. But usually when that happens theres a lubrication issue for the thrust bearing. Make sure that those little balls get enough grease and are moving free and easy .

Wolf and I are getting our team together for Snowbirds. We would like to know who is going. Please e-mail [email protected].
P.S. Wolf has offered a special team price so we can all have new chassis for the race. |
