Wow! 10 cells! You're right, I really just followed Associateds' leed- it's basically the same pattern they use on their 10L. Don

Check out Tamiya's F103GT, that's a really fun car. Or if you want to venture a little further in time, check out the Yokomo YR-F2 and Tamiya FF01, FF02 M-03, M-01. The front drivers are really fun as well.

Hi, that my car Xray T1Evo2 and FK05...T1Evo2 was converted to RWD...loaded with Esc UF75 sensorless brushless with 4 pole plettenberg shadow motor...
I really like my RWD T1Evo2 more than my TC...may be to tell you the feeling is like this..TC is like driving 4WD super touring...RWD is like driving LeMans racing car....
Current modification: rear is wider (200mm), front belt including UJ and shaft removed (take much longer time to stop spining), Foam tyre (F/R 37/35 shores)...
Performace...firstly, I don't have lap counter...so not be able to tell the number..Generally, handling just like any 1/10 pancar with more stability in corner and uneven surface area....speed, this is the first car that I cannot use all the power at the street line...just keep accelerating (40m) at straight line of the track....the thing that like about this car...its looks so gorgeous from the control tower compare to TC...plus the accelerations so aggressive...and looks fast...but U need very smooth finger...

Interesting topic. I am also fond of RWD cars vs 4WD. Playing an F103GT.
Now which 4WD are good candidates to convert to RWD? I have these three in mind as Tamiya and HPI have good parts support here.
-Sprint 2
-Pro 3
-TA04
But not so keen on TA04 because parts are hard to find.

Some tips from me.....
1. try to get any TC layout similar to T1Evo2....
2. make rear wheel wider....
3. use gas car tyre
4. lower body shield
5. weight distribution...more bias to rear....
If just remove...front drive train...Its still difficult to drive....even make u slower in the track.....

mod car = $ & often not track worthy.
