You're right about Fremont; quite a drive for me. I got physical limitations that make it a real bit## to make that drive. not sure about Ripon-didn't even know they had a track there. Besides all the negative, Livermore has space aliens around there around the lab. Thanks for the insight though!

Ripon has an awesome track. I didn't race in it but I remeber it most for the Reedy Invitational where I got to see the prototype Tamiya TRF414x.

Wait til you drive it. We have seen some astonshing results. It seems the box stock setup on the M05 is already on pace with our full blown dialed in M03Rs....thats with nothing much yet done to the M05. Its got another .5-.7 in it easy once we tune on it. Read my words...it WILL replace the M03!

We'll have to wait til next Sunday to get more wheel time and actually start tuning the car. Mainly springs, camber link location and tires. My guess is this car will need a slightly different tire setup than the M03 to get the most out of it.
BTW...Anyone heard anything about swaybars for this car?

I started bulding the M-05 last night. I installed bits from my M-04 into it, seeing as the bearings and gears were already nicely broken in. Front suspension is mostly M-03R, and lower control arms are Blade Racing delrin pieces. So, for the most part, other M bits fit.
Everything fits just like it belongs there. Cool!
