Now dumb question...will the Novak GTX be able to handle a 2S 7.4V Lipo? Any concerns?

Off course it will

The GTX doesn't have a lipo cutoff though so be careful you don't run it down too far or grab a smart stop/lipo cutoff

G'day Tony,

I ran my MO3L at RCS in Apr this year and the track has heaps of grip. At that time they were getting the track ready for the pre worlds later that month.I had the rear end skating all over the place. I tried heaps of different rear tyres, I even tried the M grips and S grips which is what they use in Thailand and I still could not sort out the car. Thailand has a well supported M chassis local competition.

If I was going to compete I would be using either The Express MMR 2 or the ABC Genetic 4WD Chassis. The ABC is well supported by the Siam Thailand RC shop. These would have more pace and better grip than the MO3 chassis cars. The biggest thing is, are they going to restrict the rollout on the 4WD chassis.

Also interested in what the handout motor will be and the controlled Mini handout tyre.

I am very interested in attending, however I will have to do some sweet talking first.

Tony, spoke to the guys at RCS track. Very early days yet but they are talking about possibly separating the 2WD and 4WD if enough entries. Oh this is looking good.

They dont have a lot of details yet as they are concentrating on the Worlds coming up. I hope to find out more detail when I go over to watch the Worlds :D:D:D

It would be heaps better if they do seperate the mini classes. So does that mean we are up for both???:nod::nod:

Hopefully the handout tyre would be the rides. We know they are made in Thailand.

my current m03 rover have been converted to you m03m front and rear upright, cva shocks, cvd, so interm of performance, my current ride ist as good as the m03r right?

also i was tempted to get the limited edition blue chasis set, its if good?

I hear the chrome and blue chrome chassis flake very easily. One of the turnoffs of the M03R, although it looks sweet when its just assembled. :D Another turnoff of the M03R is the brittle material used for the clear blue shocks. Both issues can be fixed easily and not too expensively though.

I have used a blue chassis and not had a problem with the paint chipping. It will scrape off on the bottom but if you are a good driver, people won't see that anyway.:lol:

In my opinion, the blue chrome or regular chrome chassis are not worth the extra money, whether or not they chip. (mine is flakey as heck)

I bought a new grey chassis last night for $7.50. The blue chrome was listed at about $40.00.

We usually take about 8-10 guys from Australia. It is increasing each year. One of the best race events around. The Mini class will be interesting. Hopefully they separate the two classes of Mini. Apparently they have a good Mini following in Bangkok so the class should be good. And you live so close .. easy for you to get to.
