You ordered the 'Super Slicks' or the "60D Type As" ?? The later will be better for carpet. But if thats tamiya tires, I'll recommend the 60D M-Grip radials for carpet.

That lipo is not hard cased so would not be allowed at most meetings in Oz

Hey Tony- When I grow up I want to be able to paint/detail Minis like you! Every ride I have seen painted by you look great! ...Got any locations in the Stockton,Ca area that paints Mini bodies?

I ordered Tamiya (#53215) M-Chassis Slicks, don't know if those are what you call 'super slicks'?

16 and 8 tooth ... too slow

20 tooth is the fastest Mini

What tyres did everyone end up using for the event? I recall that you had to run the same size tyres front and rear. Just interested.

1st place - Pit Shimizu Softs all round

2nd place - Powers 36 front/Spice 28 rear

3rd place - Ride 3023 Medium all round.

Track was DAMN cold......

So little tyres all round. Good to see that a variety of tyres worked, especially in the cold. Did anyone use any traction compound or tyre warmers?

I like the stickers.
