Check to make sure you have it wired correctly. It is not the same as your typical modern ESC. I gave the one I got in my kit (I never actually used it) away to a friend who had the same problem. Turns out that with the Tamiya esc you have to plug that one connector it into the battery slot in your radio receiver to make it work. Most ESC's don't require that, as they have a BEC (battery elimination circuit), but the TEU101BK doesn't, thus the extra connector.

Default what shocks to use

I just bought a used mini, it came w/ blk plastic oil shocks. I am thinking about going to alum shocks. which one should I get? I have a set of 415 shocks but they are very long, can I use that? also which spring do I use, the short or the regular? Thanks

The black plastic oils should be fine if the are set up correctly, that said i run the trf dampers with 5mm fuel line internally to reduce travel/droop. I also run the short springs to help get the ride height down.

Steve.

It's actually a locally made/copied version of the Chevron Monster "M" . A RC shop in Taipei had it made for all mini class competitors in upcoming race. In total there will be about 30!! of these Monster "M"s crashing around the course.

TimK: Its on the tiny island country of Taiwan. About 30 mini class entrants

SpeedDemon: Sorry, no part no. Its special made for the race and they dont sell online or overseas.

I'll post pics after the race this weekend.

Chevron bodies in my opinion aren't that good in modelling terms. If you were choosing a mini body, I'd suggest something from ABC (http://abchobby.com/abcframeeng/cont/01mini.html).

Reverse the wires to your motor so you can make it RWD.

I'd guess the M04 chassis would be more appropriate.

M04 is too long....

You'll struggle to get the Corolla Levin onto an M03. The servo mount will hit at the base of the windscreen around the cowl area.

You'd have to cut a hole to let it poke out a bit. Not sure how big a hole but it might end up looking pretty average I'm afraid... And a big risk if you get it wrong..

Default M03M clear bodies

Do you guys have any links of places I can buy bodies for the M03M chassis. I live in Canada. I would buy either from Canada, US or Hong Kong. I never bought from Australia so I don't know about shipping and duty fees.

Thanks, Chris.
