Hi Guys
I am new to the Mini and will be racing (for fun) in the WCICS. They use TCS rules,Tamiya hop up's only, silver can motor, ect.

Can you help me with some tips? I have purchased bearings, ball diffs (both Manta and TAO3), 20 and 21T pinions, shock set # 53280 and the Hollow carbon gear shaft.
What more do I need?
I have the M-O4M Alfa Romeo and the M-O3 Mini Cooper. Is one better than the other?
Can I get a good set up for carpet for both?
What diff is better, Manta or TAO3?
What Tamiya tires and inserts should I buy?
What is the best way to run in the stock motor? Water dip? How long?

Sorry to be a pain! I know I could read 83 pages and get most of the info but I know Tamiya Guys are hardcore and will give me good advice!
Thanks
Rod

DOH!!

I couldn't find online manuals so I JUST scanned the page on steering system assembly and was going to e-mail it to you.

Anyway, page 10 on the MO3 manual from the download source given.

Shock mounts are part of the chassis, and a complete new chassis will only run you about $15.00 max....

im waiting on the guy i made the trade with to get back to me before i decide if im going to keep this mini or not

body
rim's and tire's there slicks on it now and one is cracked
pinion
motor it would run for a while but i would replace it
chassis
shock rebuild kit
knuckle doesnt turn easy at all either bearings/dirt or warn out c hubs

i figure with what the price's add up to.
im better off with a new kit and this one for spare parts

if he doesnt want to work somthing out he will get it back

the only good thing about it is the aluminum knuckles

It takes a more talented person to drive a mini. You must not be one of them...
