If I could afford a full set of MIP/Thorpe drivers, I'd do it in a heartbeat. My Arrowmax are good, but not compared to MIP.

BTW: has anyone tried the Yeah Racing wide span suspension set? I'm wondering if it's made of the same cheese as their other suspension components, or if it's any good. Could be an interesting addition to the Xevo.

That car looks really nice, -especially for the price.
Here is my concern and why I would be hesitant to purchase. Several years ago I purchased an off-brand car like this from a not very well known manufacturer. The car looked great, had some nice parts and also had some horrible parts that became evident once I began driving it. A few parts broke and it was impossible to find replacements, the manufacturer stopped making the car and never really sold replacement parts for it in the first place. I was stuck having to fabricate my own parts and sourcing from other cars ...turned out to be a pita.

I would want to make sure that parts would be readily available for this car and that it wouldn't be discontinued in a year or two before I personally bought this. I hate following the crowd, but it has served me well with car purchases. ...for about the same price this is a much better choice in my opinion:

Try Hudy tools. And remember you get what you pay for.

Hudy are just rebadged from another brand and priced beyond reason. I've seen some of Hudy's "exclusive, high quality" stuff coming out of second and third tier suppliers. Their stuff is better than most, but the truth is Hudy, like most others in this business is a reseller.

That BSR mini looks good, but I agree parts supply would be at the top of my wants list. Speaking of parts want, I'll be ordering some CF soon AJ. Need to make spares!

Not true in my experience. I have wrecked hudy tools at the same rate as other tools. Going the cheaper route has saved me in the long run. Hudy is a name, and IMHO, over priced accordingly. But yes they are very nice.

Nice, where are you sourcing it from? This Alberta Scale class would be a tone of fun, making a custom car :) Mini size would just make it cooler!

Probably buy a chunk from eBay. I'm not looking to do full chassis yet, so I'll be getting smaller piece. Really incredible that I can't find a source for FRP, like the chassis is made of. At the very least, I can't get any of them to email back with info.

One of our local guys has been running one for the past year and, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's just carbon fiber "look," but I'll try to confirm the next time I see it. It handles pretty darn well and I'd take it over my Genetic, for sure. None of us in have the Top Sabre 4wd for comparison, but a few had Atomic VMIIs. I'd say for price/performance in our little local realm of M-scale awd cars the M.Rage/NRX-12 takes the cake.

Back to Tamiya M-0x cars...

It's too bad we don't have a TCS M-scale class locally. My M-05 and my son's M-03 can't hang with the AWD chassis on our usually large asphalt layouts. We still have a blast with them and we will get an opportunity to race them in our local "bucket" class on Wednesday nights. :D
