Just wanted to post back that it's Tamiya #54000 incase others are looking

OK Mini junkies, for those running the killshot in 21.5 mini TCS applications, have you found the Kill Shot 21.5T (High RPM) or the combo of the Kill Shot High Torque (21.5T) with the 12.3 high RPM rotor to be more effective with TCS rules?

i have a mini m-05 spec pro (not much info on this older chassis)
and looking for some setup on carpet help/tips
this is what i have so far?
I will be running 40wgt oil in the shocks
im sure it has kit springs (white springs with yellow&blue) not sure what gos where

cf front shock mount. stand the front shocks straight up and down?
lean rear shock in?
put a little putty in dif? or sticky tack?how much?
it has a aluminum 3deg rear block ...good or bad?
the aluminum motor counter weight ...good bad?
on of my fellow races said to add 30 graming in the front bumper...would i still do that with all this extra aluminum

im thinkingh of ordering swaybars for it
anyways any more help would be great

Not sure about your Kill shot question. I'll be running a kill shot 21.5 high rpm this coming season ...so will know more but not for a few months at least.

Tamiya Aluminum shocks installed & really dropped the ride height!

One ridiculous thing is the fact that the ball mounts for these upgrade shocks were threaded completely different... Good job Tamiya

Did you build the shocks with the spacers as per V1 or without as per V2.

I did put the o-ring inside because with the stock shock build the shocks were so long that even the droop screw didn't lower the chassis enough.

It's sitting at about a 6mm ride height now

Are they the 54000 M-Chassis shocks or are they Touring Car shocks ?
What length did you build them to ?

I put a metal spacer/plate between the droop screws and the chassis to stop the screws digging in to the plastic. I made them up from an electric Jig Saw blade, just ground off the teeth and then made them to size. I epoxied them in place.
At least now the droop screw doesn't have to protrude too far through the suspension arm.

I'm running 4.5mm ride height with 3mm of droop on the rear of the car at the moment. 1mm higher at the front.

Yes they are the 54000 M-chassis shocks.
It's sitting at 5mm front & 6mm back with very little droop around 1-1.5mm

I'll check the shock length measurements as those are written down at home
