I cant tell any difference

arms look different on rear, motor is definitely moved in. front shock tower seems changed also. once some better images come out im sure it will be easier to pick the differeces

heat sink bars look lower and further back

Not much to work with, huh? The "leaked"pictures from the original M05 were a little more tantalizing. The only real change I can make out from this is there appears to be a hole in the chassis, next to the radio tray.

The front shock mount looks to be real close to the regular M05. But the rear tower looks to of had some changes. Rear arms look a little different. Just hard to tell for sure.

To be honest it don't look like much of a V2 of the M05. some changes but then again i want pictures of the final product.

i couldn't tell that the motor has moved in at all! But yeah front shock mount seems different (m not sure if it's considered a tower), i do fancy that hole next to the esc/radio plate. Allows very neat electronics installation

What do you guys use for saucing the tires for pavement?
Ive read about WD40, various companies tire compounds, even simple green
Any others?

yes wd40 and undiluted simple green.

also i have used tweek but needs to be baked with warmers and the lrp carpet 3

but tend to just use these on the rear.

Motor Position:
The motor is fitted to a newly-designed mount and has been moved 4.5mm closer to the center of the chassis when compared to the original

Suspension Arms
Newly-designed one-piece suspension arms are made from reinforced plastic. They offer greater durability and contribute to the model's sharper steering. The arms are equipped with droop screws to allow quicker droop adjustment just like Tamiya’s touring cars.

Low Profile Servo compatibility:
The main frame has been redesigned to support the chassis' new functionality. Compatible with low-profile servos, the servo attachment position has been shifted 8mm downwards to secure a lower center of gravity.

Is the front half of the car going to be available and compatible with the standard mo5 as an upgrade? would be nice to get the gearbox section to move the motor to the center.
