Happy new year everyone! Anyone have kit electrics that they're wanting to get rid of? I need a few brushed ESCs and motors.

I just posted two Tamiya ESCs in the FS/FT forum if you're interested.

Hi all, and happy new year to you.

I'll be sticking a black can in my car on occasion (different club) and wondered what pinion is best for this motor?

Also I have Tamiya's hard coated 16 and 20t pinions but can't seem to find a hard coated 18t?

Cheers
Ryan

Use the 20T, the motor is well able for it, I've done comparisons on a few of our track layouts and there is little difference between the 20T and the 18T, the 20T being 1 to 2 tenths quicker.

try http://www.freeprawnracing.co.uk/rw-...0t-rw0600.html for an 18T pinion.

Ryan stick with the 20t pinion you will definatly notice the difference between the 18t and the 20t speed wise
Have fun

Is it ok not to use the motor spacer? I dont see how it will affect the m05

Do you mean the dust guard? Thin fibre disk... That is all it is there for, keep stuff out the tranny.

Robert I have to agree with The Monkey and Granpa. The aluminum ones they're making these days are a lot better than the old style. Plus theydo hold up better than the plastic does. My driver is right behind Granpa in crashing points and style altho he is getting better! I would invest in the aluminum its really worth it in the long run

Thanks all. I will have a look at these.
