Just to fill out the list the 2 small tranny bearings are 5x8, the larger 2 are 5x11
and the outdrive bearings are 5x11.

About tire lift in corners. I've been having a problem with the inside front lifting. I've been able to cure the problem a little with a rear sway bar. The theory being that I'm trying to limit diagonal weight transfer. My setup right now is blue springs rear, red springs front. S grips all around. I'm running a little CA on the outside of the front tires. I've been dropping front ride height as compared to rear. Everything is being done to gain back steering lost to the shimmed diff. It corners like a demon, especially once the track is grooved up. Thoughts?

This is probably a very rookie mini question, but do you need to buy any extra pieces to convert an m03 rover into an m03m? I am looking to buy a rover off Craigslist but want to make sure I can convert it to a medium wheelbase to fit the swift body. Thanks for the help.

Not sure on the 03 but know my 05L can be adjusted all the way down to a short just by moving the locations of where stuff on the rear end is mounted. Mind you I have never tried it but have been told this by different people.

Would me shortening the car help my hop at all?

The m03 requires extra parts to extend the chassis. The m05 can adjust to short, medium, and long wheelbases just by moving things around.

Thank you for the help robin dog. Would you happen to know what it's called or what the part tree is?

MWB extension: PN 51238 M03M F Parts

Looks like there was some crossover with everyone talking bearing sizes today. I guess we all know now!

One of the must dos for all Mini racers is to visit Tony Gray's website. If you're new or relatively new to Minis, it should be your Bible. Frankly, it will answer most of your ????? I still go back from time to time.

It's rc-mini.net. I'd provide a link, but that's beyond my limited computer skills. I discovered it while building and setting up my very first Mini and really can't thank Tony enough.

I love that site. Used it a lot for my M03. Too bad he's not updating it anymore though he does have a Facebook page that I follow. After fighting my TA05 electronics install for VTA last night I'm really missing the simplicity and just all out fun of only racing the mini. No messing with gearing, programming of complicated ESCs or vast adjustments to suspension. Just build it, dink with a few tuning options and race for hours.

Just out of curiosity, could you explain the reasoning behind selling the best Mini ever released so that you could buy one of the most flawed cars in existence. I did check out your car and you'd be a lot better off putting some serious effort into improving it. Your 03 will be faster, handle better, more reliable, and much less expensive.

Yeah but he does have a TA03.

I like my Minis but I love my TA03.

Honestly, I am hoping to start racing again soon. But I am not out to become sponsored or collect a bunch of trophies. I just like what I like, and the pint sized RWD cars are really cool. Besides I have had my mini for a while and I could use the change and challenge of a new set up.
