Looking to upgrade the steering on my M-05, is the 3Racing graphite version any good or better to go with the alloy/steel type?

M03 Help
I bought a used M03 and broke the C hub. I replaced it with a c hub from my M03R and the aluminum knuckle didn't fit.
Does anyone know if the early years M03 and later years have a different size Front C hub?
Thanks

The earlier C hub & knuckle are different. You need to replace the knuckle and C hub both.

Got bored today and installed a set of adjustable camber links on my M03. Any thoughts? How about a good starting point for camber? I seem to have tons with the stock links. Straighten it up maybe?

I had them on my M03. 1/2 to 1* gives more forward drive & no more "groove of death" after one day on pavement.

Ok, so after years of my M05 being near perfect for me I spent some carpet time with my M03. First thing I noticed was the M03 was quicker out of the corners. Lap times were immediately on par with my M05 but the car was much more twitchy than the 05. It was very reactive..too much and was hard to be consistent with. I am running the gear diff pretty tight. Wondering if the TA03 ball diff would settle it down.? Setup in 225mm wheelbase. Yellow front, red rear springs. 60/40 wt. Oil...S and A premounts..no swaybars. Any ideas to settle it down?
BTW...I think the car is light for TCS..only added 1oz so far. Is guess its around 1200 g

Core try S tires on the back, and maybe a little lead low down in the rear of the chassis. Also ride height. Try high and low. Also check your rear droop. Again no specific way to go, ive tried more droop and less sometimes and both had positive effects. I ended up making a second set of rear shocks with different droop length so i could try it on the fly. I also liked running a 12th scale servo on the 03 for less weight up top.
Anyone else looking forward to this?
84316 1/12 RC Volkswagen Golf Mk.1 Grp.2 M05
I'm guessing it will be exactly the same as the old VW Kamei Grp 2 that was on a 1/12th pan chassis around the same time as the Renault 5.
Another SWB body, should be good!

Didn't the Renault 5 re-issue on the M-05 turn out to be a really bad fit, with huge gaps in the rear arches? I would have to see a pic of the Golf actually fitted to the chassis before making a decision on whether it is a good release.
If you ran the Renault with the rally tyres in kit standard form it was a bad fit.
If you wanted it to look right you need to lower it down as if it was ready for a tarmac rally stage, then use 4mm hexes on the front, as the body is narrow at the front, and then 6-8mm hexes on the rear with +4mm offset rims because the rear of the body is massively wide, but if you did all that it looked great!
Will have to wait and see how the Golf fits.

Do M03 and M05 use the same arms?
I bought some 3racing molded arms which said they are for M05 for my M03 and I find them to be a little longer than my stock arms. This causes my camber to be a few degrees more negative than before.
After seeing this, I checked a few more aftermarket arms. Some say they are compatible for M03,04,05. Some say only M03,04. What's up with this?

Lowers are the from M03 to M06.
I got a set that did that last year, but I ended up really liking the tiny bit of extra angle.
