Took the words right out of my mouth. Sorry Paul but I could not stop laughing/crying after reading that. That is a "priceless" quote right there.
I have just one question for you right now Paul. What battery bars were used on the packs that you ran in the car? I got some side X side packs from Jim but the bars are raised a bit in the middle and they hit the pinion gear.
Thanks much (again),
Jeremy

Paul- great job on the writeup from the Xray CHallenge in Arkansas!
Fairly short and to the point with highlights about the best parts. Very nice.
Also, Bates doesn't get on rctech much so he asked me to post and see if you could send him a picture and maybe a brief description of "what 2 and a half degrees looks like?"
EA thinks poopy in the tub is so funny because he likes to bite his fart bubbles before they pop when he's in the bath... at least that's what Dirla told me...

Hi Paul.
First thanks for al your advice on many question, I've only have to read them
and give me tons of tech info.
My question: are you running those new dubble knuckled driveshaft on the front, and if so, how will they behave themselves (wear)
Thanks in advance,
Ed

Hi Paul, does the new motor have variable timing or the same 3-step timing adjustment? Do you see the need for such variability?

Hi everyone, im back again. sorry for the big delay.
Jbmx4life: Hi, honestly im not sure what kind of battery bars were on my packs. im sure that they were Trinity. I dont know why they would rub on your pinion unless if you have your spur gear on wrong.
BigBog: thanks. lol
Devin4444: i would suggest trying the Blues, they work well and last for ever their.
Eded1: The drive shafts are really nice, i havent used them a lot but in the batterys that i have run them i saw no wear. they are definately more efficient, and they do change the handling of the car. I think that they are better but car set-ups will have to change to complement these drive shafts properly.
FrancisM: thanks much.
Stocker: The Pulse motors will have a rotating timing ring, almost like a brushed motor, so you will be able to adjust the timing in any incroment. I think that the 3 timing adjustments is good also, keeps it simple, with that now our duo motors have been prooven just awesome. (middle timing hole). Thanks.

Thanks,

P.S. Congrats on your TQ in FL. Was it fun down there where it is warmer than here?

Jeremy: with the jaco's i would suggest putting more rear toe in to the car, even a .4mm shim will make a big difference, and you could also take out some front camber. With the rp's you could increase your front camber and moove the rear arms foreward (shorter wheel base from the rear will give more steering). play allot with camber and droop when your practicing, just to learn.
FL was good but hot, i get the feeling that it was nicer here. but we had allot of fun.
hopefully that stuff helps. thanks, paul
