Alfa 2.0 vs Stratus 2.0 ?? !! ?? !!
#5
I've always like the original Stratus. From what I understand, the Alfa steers more. Some like the Losi Alfa because it steered hard but the wing was so large that it had decent rear traction also. I guess what I'm trying to say is that if it steers better and the rear is somewhat planted, the car as a whole could be considered to be "on rails."

protoform
I tried 300m- good body, 2.0 stratus - very good body but i didnt know protoform had a alfa body. I am racing with the losi alfa body which i hate to put on my AE BUT- it is the best body to date ive ever raced with - VERY FAST!!!!

Yep, Losi Alpha is definitelly a good body. Provides lots of Steering specially for tight tracks

#12

You mean "has anyone run the protoform ALFA and compared it to the losi ALFA"
I haven't, but I gather they have quite similar charicteristics, although the Protoform Alfa is more adjustable, and comes with a booklet to describe how to adjust the aerodynamics of the body to suit particular tracks and driving. Plus the protoform has better stickers.

dirk,
normally protoform are legal for, and more suited to racing applications, while proline are selling street racer type bodies that aren't roar (or whoever is official) endorsed, but look good.
As long as your track doesn't mind two door bodies, I find that the proline's I've had are pretty good.
