i'm sure it's safe and been tested for all kinds of n00b mistakes. horizon (losi's parent) would be subjecting themselves to some serious liability if they released an unsafe product.

NOT A BAD IDEA BUT IF YOUR RIGHT INTO YOUR RC GEAR A QUAILITY CHARGER IS 1 OF THE FIRST THINGS YOU BUY

How does something like this work? Does it just disconnect from the charger when the right voltage is hit (i.e. 8.4v for a 2s pack)?

I hope they test this with the common Lipo Cells (Orion and the other brands)and also in Performance as compared to a LiPo Charger (MM,CheckPoint etc...)

I'm itching to buya new Lipi Charger but this is holding me off for now. . .

It looks pretty neat, BUT I would be scared to use this thing. Lipo chargers are getting cheaper by the day. I really hope this works safely. In the midst of war on approval of lipos, I'd hate to see a thing like this set us back.
