Which motor is more suited for sedan racing on high bite asphalt? Whats a good starting gear ratio?

i have the Orion at about 5.0 based on what a freind that works for them told me. I still have not got to run it at the track yet though. I did temp it out after about 5 minutes and the temp was about 120.
