Default Fastest EP Onroad

I know its silly for me to ask this kind of question, but what the heck I'll still ask it anyway.
What do you think is the fastest brand and model on the road (not buggy, i dont want B44 )
What im looking for: its durability and the spare parts are easy to find . I need it to race to the fast guys here in our place.
Is it Tao5MS is the best on its leuge?
any suggestion will be highly appreciated,
thanks!

The brand of car you choose makes no difference, speed comes from the equipment you put in it. The fastest stuff I've used is Novak gtb with a 3.5 motor. But even with this in your car, the only thing that will let you keep up with the fast guys is practice.

The fastest car is the one with the best driver at the control!

Actually I dont look for a brand, in fact I dont want TA05MS either because of its high price (its like your paying the brand of the car but not the car itself)
In my previous statement it goes like this, "i was looking for durability and parts that are easy to find".
The only car i know that exist are tamiya and kyosho, I want to widen my horizon on car selection. Thats the main reason i created this thread.
What I want is a car that can equal or surpas the agility of Tamiya and Kyosho (but low in price)
Can anybody introduce me to a new selection?
Thanks!

I think the Associated TC5 is inexpensive and very capable of winning. Parts are available at my LHS but I would check with your LHS to see what parts they stock. Getting a used "last years model" of other cars can make them less expensive and still very capable. I personally like the Corally RDX and now the PHI is out they are cheap. Parts are a bit harder to come by but can be found online easily. Good Luck trying to choose.

the fastest car is a car running a gtb with a speed passion 2.5r motor. a 2.5r motor would be equal to a novak 1.5, if there were such a thing made by novak.

hehe, FAST. theres even a warning saying u have to run 5 cell or the speedy WILL blow up

Xray makes very nice cars. I think the 007 EU is probably their most fragile car to date, from a company that has made some very tough cars in the past.

My vote would be for the Associated TC5. I've been racing and practicing with one for about a month and I've only broken a couple of rear hubs from poor driving. I haven't broken one front end part and I've smoked some corners pretty hard with it in practice. AND I'm only using the stock front bumper! No wide Kydex bumper or anything! It truly is a tank, and fast! I also love that it's a common car and easy to get parts for. When it came out, 6 guys at our local track switched companies to get TC5s. They were running Losi, Xray, and Corally before. And they're just as competitive now, if not more so.

You need to walk into your Local Hobby shop and see what cars they carry and if they stock parts, that's the car to get....

Parts are easy to find for any car if you don't mind waiting a week or 2 for them...

Asking suggestions from the owner of LHS is the last thing i wil do, Simply, bcoz some of them are "bias" on their products.
Some will do marketing on you by telling all the positive adjectives they know regarding their products, you will never know who's telling truth.

You are right! Its silly to ask which is the " Fastest EP Onroad" bcoz it depends on the driver and of course, the correct electronics and motors. Maybe i should rephrase my question,
It goes like this "Which Car Do You Think is Durable but low in cost, that can match up Kyosho and Tamiya Trf?"
any suggestions!

TC4 will do. Durable than belt driven cars. Lots of potential.

TC4 is good for 540 and stock, but once you go above to a lower turn class you will find it isnt as good, is you want to run stock class and above you want a belt car, ie. TC5 as a low turn motor with the high amount of rpm will wear the shaft and gears if not looked after

this is what ive found
