That doesn't look much like the spy shots we saw of a sensored version a few months ago. :-(

Cool. The 1/10 ESC looks like a sensorless GTB.

OK but who makes the motors?? and that ESC, sure they look alike very much alike, but i dont think traxxas and neither losi make there own brushless motors.

That's great news. I was kind of thinking it would be Spektrum branded based on the color of the case and wires, but it looks like they stuck with the Losi name.

About a month ago I saw a 13.5 version of the Losi Motor being tested at the local track and it was very fast. Faster than the Orion and probably faster or equal to the new Novak with the red timing ring. It was being tested on the GTB meaning it has sensor cable. This motor was almost ready for market. Going through packing stages. Maybe out very soon.

Shocking and disgusting to find out this is not an OEM by Novak...

I heard the original version was a sensored Xerox. Now it is claimed as sensorless, but not capable of both? So sensorless systems are now a large part of the market and rtr's. Yet, slotted motors that really need a sensor to start perfect dominate the motor market. In fact 6 brand names and counting on one of them...

It is going to be a crazy ride!

I do think that Roar went with sensored systems since Novak was first to submit a guideline to roar and with Novak being the first to really popularize brushless for racing they should be the standard. LRP was smart enough to go with a sensored system. What I don't get is why Tekin keeps working on sensorless system knowing that it is not legal?

Sensorless is legal.................Tekin went with a delta wound motor, which is illegal...........can't remember if it was slotless too, which would also be against the rules.....

Eddie !!!
These motor`s like the Tekin R not Roar stock motor`s, K ?

So there legality is not in question ...

Rather the whole concept of spec racing is question today because Roar still has not release the spec`s for a legal brushless stock motor...

Seriously feel the day`s of spec racing is coming to a cross road...
