the popularity of the Dodge Stratus stems from its inherent neutral handling characteristics. Since we set up our chassis to handle in a way we like it to move, putting on a body that isn't neutral skews these settings. It's either the body makes the car push (understeer) or loose (oversteer). So to make life simpler, most racers just bolt on a known neutral body.

Depends on your club's rules.
but since it's a sports car, and not a 4-door, it's strictly not a "touring" car.

I think the 360 is illegal in ROAR events because its not a 4 door sedan....at my club they dont care what body you run, so i just run it.

was ist los
could be wrong, but I've got a feeling the vectra is a neutral handler too.

Vectra is as good as Stratus. I have used one. You can even paint it like the BTCC, feels great.

i'm using a vauxhall
i've ran it 3 or 4 weekends with good results, it had a slight push when i changed it, the BMW M3GT that i was running previous was probably hiding the front end push well. so far i have liked the BMW & Vauxhall bodys best, i had a celica that was alright. i can't speak mush about it as i was still figuring out my set-up when i had it. i am planning on trying the new Volvo from Proto-form. the new Acura looks like a winner to.
MissX, about your downforce/ wing size comment. a larger wing does add more downforce, to the rear of the car. if rear downforce overcomes front downforce you'll lose front traction (aka hello push) the idea is to have equal downforce. OR set the chassis to resist downforce in the areas in which it is to great. the odd thing about downforce is that it increases with speed, sitting still the body creates no downforce. while moving the body will see twice the downforce at 20mph than it does at 10mph! this is the reason you see GTU Lemans class race cars shooting turns at well over 100mph. they acually create 6 times their weight in downforce at near top speeds! think about that, at speed they could actually stick an upside-down track. to cool

I like the Stratus OK but my favorite bodies have always been the Accords. In fact, my body of choice is the Protoform 98 Accord Coupe. Not ROAR legal but none of the tracks I run at enforce the 2-door rule. Body looks sharp, handles well, and I get to be a little bit different from the crowd to boot.
