Thanks for the input guys. I have the Hara kit, so I already have the light weight input shafts. I will look into getting the alu camber link and perhaps I'll see some other stuff at the store that will catch my eye.
Any further hop up suggestions are welcome.

I'm curious about the comments on the bevel gears.
Are the stock ones o.k. for stock and 19 turn?
I run indoors on carpet with foams, diffs at each end. Are some guys having issues with the gears with hotter motors or just under certain running conditions?

Get the carbon shaft made by EWippler Almost half the weight of the stock alloy and twice the durability. I converted one of my beat up stock ones for about $25. He has a thread here somewhere.

I wasn't aware of anyone having problems with the bevel gears.
More than anything, it the large diff gear that gets broken in a crash due to drivetrain shock or from poor shimming and flex.
i was looking to get the alu one-piece gears because they'd have less slop. it eliminates another stupid spring pin. how much louder do they run compared to the plastic gears?
To answer your question, i run a GTB 5.5R and i've never had problems breaking diff gears. That includes some of my unplanned off-track excursions. i did however break one or two when i first got the car and has some gears improperly shimmed. one of those was also one of the first gen. gears which are much thinner on the outer rim than the updated versions.

Angryasian,
Thanks for the info. I am probably a little behind the times on this car. I just got one in a trade last week and started reading this thread to get up to speed.

Greg, If the diffs are not shimmed right then you will strip some gears.

Lord shado,
I put my cells in, soldered the battery bars on and then lightly shoe gooed them. If you try to use too much glue, when it dries it shrinks and will move the cells out of alignment even with them in the car and the battery strap in place.
A light bead of glue dries quicker too so just do the top of the cells and in an hour or so you can flip them over and do the other side.
