1. Do all 64P Pinion gears fit on the Pro4 or do you have to purchase a particular brand.
2. What type of Pinion spur combination are people using out there?

Cheers!
any 64p spurs will fit...that have the 8 or 12 holes for the 4 hole mounting screws. Xenon gears fit perfectly.

Pinion...all depends on your motor, track, driving style etc.
if you're running the Monster Stock...geared to around 7+/- final drive ratio... you'll need a 34T 64p pinion. A good set of pinions in the range of 30 to 39 is good to have...

Erik thanks for the helpful advice.
Is the HPI 64P 48T pinion gear on the tower hobbies web site a long shank or a short shank?
How do you tell the difference between long and short shank?

Kit Question

Guys,

Just wanna ask if all the screws on the top deck are countersunk or not. I saw some pictures that they are countersunk but if you look at the kit pictures at HPI's website its not (i think they are botton head screws).

Thanks in advance!

The production version the top-decks are counter sunk..
you can always turn them over and use button head screws...
use the counter sunk screws..prevents chassis tweak...
