Those came std. on the Pro3 and worked very well until they developed slop from excessive wear and popping off and on. will last a whole year of racing.

rc-zombies to the rescue!
Thanks for the link. So, these are the heavy duty ball cups. I'm already using those. Haven't heard them referred to as "self-lubricating", before. I guess, you learn something new everyday. Thanks, again.

on my ball cups. I drill a 1/8" hole in it.
this makes accessing the 2mm hex ball.
this reduces any slop that may incure when popping the ball cups
off and on.

Does anyone have a good setup sheet that I could try using? I'm experiencing a lot of oversteer with my current setup. I'd like to try to fix that if possible.

And right now my rear diff nut keeps coming loose. I've ordered the heavy duty nut. In the meantime I was wondering if any of you had a temporary fix for the diff nut issue?

Get the Associatted diff screw and nut.

Post your setup (HPI have a modifiable one on their website) and it will make it easier to suggest some changes

Just to let you guys know I was browsing through hpiracing japans website and I found the latest 2005 PRO4 Has all new shocks.

You guys might know this already. But if not here some photos.

Here is the 2005 w/ new shocks.

The HPI touring car user long-awaited new shock is born in the complete new design! Almost, all parts were taken a second look, the highest shock efficiency which presently is thought was pursued. Special fluorine coating the high accuracy which optimizes major diameter and hole diameter it starts shaving, the piston. 3 mm short conversion shock shafts which are optimized. O ring the bottom cap system which makes exchange easy

I wonder if these could be used on other HPI cars.

Also it seems both parts are available now. So contact your japan importers if you want the first crack at it.

But you might want to wait for the HARA PRO4 in the US. It should be out next month.

But to also clarify again. The pro4 HARA version will be out in the US next month and will be a comparible kit to the 2005 Pro4. If not hopefully better.

Thanks guys, I'll try to create a setup sheet and let you guys know what it is. Hopefully you guys are able to help me out. Does anyone know where on hpiracing.com I can find the PDF setup sheets? I found the one for the Pro 3, 2, etc but not Pro 4.

For those of you that were wondering, I was able to find everything from the 2005 edition except for ONE part, 31422 (aluminum bevel gear shaft 16T/front) which RainbowTen says is backordered according to HPI. I was able to find another item which RainbowTen didn't have, 31401 (aluminum servo & transponder mount set) from rcMart.com. Honestly after doing all this, I think it'd be MUCH cheaper to just buy the 2005 edition from any of the overseas sources (rc-mushroom, rcMart, RainbowTen, etc). The grand total for all these 2005 parts was around $230 dollars USD! I see why these guys make such a HUGE profit by selling hop-up parts!
