With the BMI 3mm, my car also seems to have loads of front end grip, and is not as smooth as the kit 2.5mm. It is quicker, but no as easy, or forgiving. my car seems to be scrubbing or speed at the rear when it bites, and skitters, I think a change in rear toe may fix this problem. Any thoughts? Jonathan.

Give this a try for less aggressive steeing off power.
Front
#5 pistons - 60wt oil – Assoc. Yellow Springs (35 lbs)
Mount: top 1st hole in from inside, inside on a-arm
0 deg toe block w/ 2mm shim’s under both (zero degree anti squat)
4 deg castor blocks
Camber link: inside mounted on inside on w/ 0* camber and 1mm under ball stud.
Stock Sway bar with 3mm showing on the tips
Ride height: 4mm
Rear
#3 Pistons - 40wt oil – Assoc. Purple springs (30 lbs)
Mount: top 1st hole inside, middle on a-arm.
1.5 deg toe block w/ 2mm under both blocks (zero degree anti squat)
Inner camber link on outside hole, outside hole on hub also. 1.5 mm under
Short wheelbase
No sway bar.
Ride height: 4mm
Droop: About 1mm over ride height in front, 2mm in rear.
Steering: Forward hole on rack and rear hole on spindle.
Diffs: rear just tight enough not to slip while holding one tire and spur gear. Front diff tighten all the way then 1/8 turn out.
Purple rear tires, Dbl purple front or plaid for more steeing.
Reedy PT 10x1 geared 98/25 w/ 42mm tires.
Tekin G-10 Pro Speed Control w/ Thrlt at 7 and LIM2 at 90 (TONS of rip out of the corners!!!!).
take care

Tonight at the race, I tried in a hole at the rear shock link, and out one at the front, this really helped, also a touch of kick up at the front, and a slightly higher front end, the car seemed to oversteer slightly, but was alot easier than the first couple of runs. Thanks for the advice, a bit more fetteling anf it will be railed. Thanks Bob for helping me out. Jonathan.

Thanks in advance!

Acceleration Question
OK... my car did not seem to have much punch exiting the corners last night. At first, the seemed to be too tight through the corners. So, I loosened it up and the car rotated through the corners much better but sill seem like I did not have much punch out of the corners and other drivers would pull away on the straight. I geared up and got the top speed much better, but still no punch.
The question I have is could this be motor issue (Monster Stock) The comm was freshly cut and new brushed installed. But I am wondering if the magnets need zapped.
Another theory I have is that my speedo (GM V8) may be lacking in the punch department. (this may also be me looking for an excuse to get a GTX or VSF-1 .
Third and final thought would be that it is a setup issue and I don't have the car setup correctly.
Any one have any ideas of thing I could try?
Thanks is advance.

The Hpi Europe site has some of the Pro4's titles listed, not bad for its first year I think you will agree.
