My 1st real race weekend for my pro4 and it was not a pretty site. My rear diff broke due to the screw head breaking off. My front right cvd axle broke at the pin behind the hub. Anyone else ever have this problem? Its a great car once I work out the bugs. I felt like a rookie out there. Now I need to fix the broken items.

Had my first race this past weekend with the Pro4 (also first time to race electric sedan) was great!! The first time putting it on the track was a bit twitchy becuz it had a ton of steering that I'm not use to becuz I'm a gas driver. After reducing my steering on radio and a little setting up the front end the car felt very good! I beat that Pit-racer guy so that made me very happy!!
One thing I found out about this car is tweak can be a problem like some of you all pointed out. Would a 3mm chassis and top deck help from tweaking the car after every run? Also would it be fine to run a 3mm chassis with a 3mm top deck on asphalt?

Punnisher....Glad you liked the car. I race the car with a 3mm chassis and top deck from Team PRP and I have raced it on asphalt with foam or rubber tires and it performs better then the stock chassis in the same situations. Also the thicker chassis does help with tweak issues.....I never really had any with the stock chassis and I dont have any now. Good luck with your new car....its one of the best out there IMO.

I had a shumacher mission before with a 3mm warpspeed chassis on it and it worked fine on asphault, but it did take a while to find a hooked up set up for it. So if you are really worried about tweak get a 3mm chassis. You will just have to sit down and find a whole new set-up

Had my first run and race with the Pro4 on the weekend (BMI 3mm chassis, ran rubbers and foams in Mod) and WOW what a great car a whole world of difference from the TA04S
Bit of a lack of traction in the cold, the TakeOff CS27's not really up to the cold track temps of the first few rounds.... Eventually the sun came out and warmed things up a bit so out came the foams and along came sooo much more grip
The one-way has taken a bit of adjustment but I can at least understand now how and why it will help make the car faster, now its just a matter of adjusting my style (or lack thereof) to suit
