Any brothers here who had driven both of these 2 cars? Which has the more agressive corners and acceleration? PLs advise I am dying to get back but just do not know which car to start with again ...

Guys, I don't think he was trying to start trouble....

tslim,

The TC3 is still a great car. It is STILL competitive, but I've noticed that many are trying other brands, simply b/c they've run the AE for so long (myself included). I don't think the design is too outdated, I think the parts are more of the problem. I had to do a LOT of work to my FT TC3 to get it as smooth and free as the Pro4 was right out of the box. I mean, I had one of the ORIGINAL TC3 gear boxes, and it didn't have the binding problems that the new cases have.

IMHO, the pro4 is everything the TC3 is, but has the improvements that AE probably is going to make, i.e, the pivot blocks, the bellcrank system, a smoother drivetrain, lighter components, better bearings and the list goes on and on.

Which do you get then? Well, it's ultimately up to you, but give the Pro4 a try, it was a refreshing change for me and it is quite fast straight out of the box.

Default tc3 vs. pro4

im still new w/ my pro 4. i would like to get alot more steering in it, and i have 2 find a good rollout 4 my track. i had a tc3, and it was perdy good, but it too needed steering on that track. my lap times are about the same with both cars now, and i know what needs to be fixed on the pro 4. i think it was a little harder with the tc3 cuz it wasnt "straight". the pro 4 seems to be a little straighter to me, dont know why, or how, it just does. that is the same with all the 4's i have driven and seen. infact, sport let me run his, and he's why i bought the dang car...i really hate that guy. j/p

me personally, i would go with the hpi, especially after they have parts, and tuning options out for it.

Believe me, going through as many cars as I have, does not make me any faster, only hundreds of dollars poorer

There is no best car, there is only consumer preference.
