Just realize that the more flex you have by running different chassis/top decks, the more the infamous torque steer will make itself known. The Pro4 is a very stiff car and I imagine HPI made it that way because of the torque steer problem.

The torque steer is not very bad on the pro4, I doubt that most drivers are good enough to notice..I watched Hara use a 5T in a pro4 using a 2mm chassis and all he did was lap the whole field at the nats. So "chew" on that torque steer..

Part number for the HPI Pro4 spool is 75168. I believe stormerhobbies have some in stock. However keep in mind that it may cause issues with the front gears giving way/breaking in a crash.

And who told you that you had to run a spool? What you run (just an opinion) depends on the track that your running at, as itchy said..you run a spool you will break gears if and when you hit anything. I would run a diff in the front at first until you get use to the car, then use the spool..I prefer a oneway to a spool but it's all personal preference..

That would be fine..and if you can, please turn the cap lock off....I had the second pro4 in the states, so I had run one with great success for years, I have quite a few parts..I still have 2 cars, I have spools, oneways, I have new and used center shafts, I am still a huge fan of the pro4, I still believe in the right hands the pro4 can still win.

you have NO POSTS in this thread, ever, and then when you do it's trying to tell someone to post in the for sale section. All the guy was trying to do was help, what a sack.
