Both sides, I can pack more shims that way :P.

I was afraid of that, though, just wanted to be sure if there wasn't something obvious I missed .

Does anybody know where I can get the elevated shock mount for my F103? The metal bar that goes across the top plate so you can mount the shock at a more horizontal angle. I'm having trouble finding the part# and a source to get this part. Any help would be appreciated.

We had our first UF1 houston trial run this past saturday!
Well good news bad news! Good new is that the belt drive worked much better and i was able to beat my best time from 23 flat to 22.6! bad new is that its still not fast enough! I ended up annihilating the track record from 22.5 to 21.6 with my 2010 Mantisworx Fq01(some of you may remember that chassis!). There is some talk of a mod class starting soon so im just going to start playing with a mod setup for the FGX since squeezing power wont be a problem. Are there rear foams out there?
THIS IS ONE OF THE COOLEST VIDS THAT I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE MADE BY IPEARL!! YA GOTTA WATCH THIS AND CHECK OUT MY SAVE AT 1:55!!

Chris Jones and i had our typical battle throughout the day, we tend to go back and forth every two weeks! This day i was on my game! I know he is in the garage preparing for this thursday! I may re release the FQ, its REALLY good right now, superb balance and very agile. F1 is HUGE in Htown right now, twice a week every week!

What is the best conversion for F103?
I use the foam tire on asphalt track.

I'm interesting about the Exotek F1R and F1Ultra...

I have had success running a TRG carbon chassis on my F103, coupled with 3 racing F103/9 front end with the adjustable castor block.
On asphalt with foam tyres (no additive) it is extremely hooked up.

If you keep it as it is, it's a 200mm car. Right?
The wheels and tires you need are for the 103.
You can find everything you need at speedtech.com or tqrcracing.com as well as the guys at these shops know their stuff and can also answer questions.
Choose between foam or rubber.

The 104 wheels and tires aren't for that car but will bolt on.
The front ends are different widths and the rear wheels are different widths and offsets since the 104 is a 180mm wide car.

Thanks Cuda for the fast response. I'm not going to race this car, so legality is out the window. I need on road car since west coast rc off road track can get pretty busy. I'll check out speedtech shop since its close to me.

Anytime, glad to help.
The 103 can be a great car with the right tires for the track of choice.
I'd make sure you talk to someone that has run the Pit Shimizu rubber tires for the 103 lately if it's rubber you plan to run.
They work incredibly but I haven't run them myself, only witnessed them kickin ass. Wish I knew the numbers for them.
If you choose foams (ridiculously hooked up on asphalt and carpet) then get some 84095 and 84096 from one of the shops mentioned and sauce em rears only with Jack the Gripper. I know for sure that TQ has them and Speedtech may or may not since foam has not been popular lately other than at TQ.
No I won't sell you any of my stuff cuz if that class comes back I'm friggin ready to go stupid fast again with that combo.

I could use some adjustment tips for my F103. It's the newer lotus 99t version and the only things I have changed so far is to add ball bearings all throughout and I added heavier duty tie rods. I'm running outdoor on asphalt and when I go through wide corners at higher speeds I get chattering in the rear and when I have to go through the tighter corners I feel as if I need more steering because I really have to slow down alot. I 'm running the frp chassis and the short frp top plate. Factory foam tires. Factory plastic shock. I'm using a sidewinder esc and running in brushed mode. What do you reccomend for braking settings on the esc.
