You should be able to use any body mounts of the correct length. Try going to your local hobby shop and ask them if you can look through their box of body mounts. I'm sure you'll find what you need.

As for the six cell chassis, that isn't much of a surprise. Even the RC12L3 had six slots.

Back in the late eighties early ninties 1/12 was run with six cells. Remember that back then 1200 nicads were the only cells in use so you needed six cells to run any speed. Once the switch to nickle metal was made and the mah levels were raised four cell became the norm.
