Adrian, Jason - what is the effect of adjusting the height of the centre-shock; and what is the effect of moving the side damper mounting to the forward position on the top brace?

I understand what the other things do that are in other people's set-ups, but would like to know what these two things do so I can see if they will help setting for individual tracks. Thanks in advance.

I ran mine and it is very good (carpet, CS High additive). The best thing is how planted the car is, and how much corner speed it carries. Passed the crash test with flying (and I mean flying!! ) colours - no tweak, no broken bits.

Front suspension, the T-bar and the Dynamic Strut front end - to these historic designs that moved 12th on a step, we may now be able to add 'L' bars.

Raising the height of the front of the shock will give you more on power steering. It helps keep the car in a roll due to the softer feel it gives the shock.
The forward holes for the damper tubes on the top plate is more of a personal preference thing. It is something that really needs to be tried for you to feel the difference. The difference is minimal but will have a little more steering.
Im glad you got to run the car and are pleased with it. We have spent alot of time trying to get everything right such as roll center, flex plate length, pivot spacing, flex plate preload, and numerous variations of pivots. We finally found what works best with this style of suspension. Im glad you like it.

CONGATS DAVE!!! Thats real good to hear. We had a good day of racing down here. I did alot of setup testing and again, the box setup worked the best for me. We ran mod and i ran a 5.5 brushless motor. The car was very easy to drive and was very predictable. I TQ'ed and won the race. Had a real good time and am still striving to find a new setup.

I did forget to mention that i ran Lilac front tires. They seemed to have good traction without an edgey feel. They were smoothe yet effective.

I ran the speed 8 when i set TQ, and the HD speed for the win. The HD seemed to smoothe the car out some. It made it easier to round the corners in the high speed sections.

I had some rough quals but the main was really good. They had a really nasty 90deg turn into a chicane at the end of the straight. Everyone talked about the huge pucker factor of going through it fast. Jason and I both launched our cars there.

Jason and I had very similar lap times. The cars were awesome with the 5.5's. Even with all that power they didn't push and the front tire wear was really good.

It was insane how fast they went down the straight

There were only 2 in mod 12th and both were DB12r's... and they dumped every run.
