Default which brushless system?

ok ill start by saying that gm and mamba systems are out as i want to run stock so i need to be able to run the novak 13.5 so that leaves novak gtb spread spektrum, lrp sphere 2007 tc spec and finally the new quark system.
couple questions is the new lrp better than the novak? its $100 more so why?
how common is thermaling now?
any one know much bout the quark?
cheers.
ps i know mamba are really good and pretty much never thermal but i wanna run stock.

GTB. Or XBR Just as long as it has the sintered rotor.

http://www.shopatron.com/index/135.0.151.0.0.0.0

Either one.
If you plan to ever go faster than a 5800 go with the GTB.
If you think 5800 is fast enough or to fast? Start with the XBR.
Simply the best dollar spent is ON THE Novak systems.

Last weekend all the guys with the GTBs were thermaling (10.5s with sintered rotors) and all the guys with Sphere's werent. So I guess it is still common.

Novak has better customer support though.

You could always wait for the tekin r1 pro but no one knows how long that wait is.

From what i have experianced the best 13.5 brushless combo is the LRP System. It doesnt thermal, and runs beautifully. The Novak is still an awesome system but i think the LRP just has it over it. I find the novak actually tends to cog off the line with good batteries..just my 2 cents

Well thats what i run with my 3.5, it actually runs faster with the gm compared to the novak. You also have to option to run it sensorless if you want.

Who told you? Bad info
I run a GM genius 95, with LRP, Novak & GM motors, no problem at all.

That's the old ss system. The motor runs something like a 15-17 turn brushed. Go for a system that includes a 13.5 either with a GTB or XBR. Don

I'll make note thanks. You have to buy the new line of motors separate.
Nice save I wouldn't want him to buy one thinking it had the sintered in it.

or8ital, you mentioned "all" of the GTB runners thermalled and "none" of the Sphere guys. Well, I have a problem with generic statements. How many of each? What type of cars? How many different heats? What motor on the spheres? Did you take a poll of gear ratios? How welll were the cars set-up? There is a lot of gray area to your statement. Having run both the GTB and Sphere, I found the LRP to have one advantage...size. Aside of that, it thermalled, crapped out and when it did work, was not as smooth as the GTB. And I run my cars HARD. Please give more info before posting your "facts".

From What I am reading the best option for me would be to borrow both systems from friends and test them. Because both the LRP and the Novak sides says theirs run the best and the other side thermals.

well, verbally that maybe acceptable but mathematically it doesnt add up

Does anyone have solid proof that one system is better than the other??

(we are comparing LRP 2007 spec and GTB standard or specktrum)
