Default Durable T/C Car

What is the most durable car that is out there right now? Also the most forgiving in terms of driving and replacing parts?

TA05...Period...Point...Blank....end of story.

2 years, carpet and asphalt, not one broken part.

Agreed, my TA05 has endured hits that would DESTROY many parts of almost any other car(including any XRay, trust me, I see it happen all the time here at home), I don't think you'll find a better deal on a tougher car than the '05....

To give you even more options...any Tamiya with the older-style (TA04) suspension is just as durable as a TA05.

TB02, Evo-3, Ta04, original 415...they all use the super-beefy arms and c-hubs. The arms are so strong, that you'll almost always bend hinge pins before you break arms...and they're very beefy hinge pins.

It took a geared-up 7700 Mamba and a 40+ MPH hit on a board (hanging out a little on the straight) to break my first arm on my EVO-3.

X-rays are tough for sure...but then there's REALLY tough...LOL

It's a question of give and take, if you want the most durable, best driving, highest quality of parts, I would go with the XRAy 007 Eu (asphault) or US (carpet). But there is also the parts availibility aspect, what does your track stock? Then there is the question of budget, yes the XRAY is a little more expensive when it comes to kit and replacements, but it is also the most durable, and you wont have to replace stuff as much. You really have to take into account all of things before you perchase a car.
