Got enough problems driving sober... takes too much effort after a few beers, taking the body off, taking the battery strap off, putting a new battery in and yada yada yada....

I drive like a mother-effing bat out of hell! I avoid driving alone while intoxicated and definately do not race while buzzed. At 40-50 mph, these cars need a spreckle of sand and a good breeze to go airborne....I would hate to add liquor to the equation.

I race mainly offroad but at the last race we had a rain delay for about an hour and a half... then I was up first... I'll just say I've had better qualifiers! Excluding that day, one or two does help smooth out a little twitchiness.

My very best run I've ever had was with a severe hangover. Puked in my car on the way to the track, then TQ'ed by about 13 seconds over a 30 car field.

We had some 21 and older races and it was a lot of fun. Some plastic bowling pins and we had some sweet RC bowling with touring cars.

Of course it also led me to take my T2 off a jump...skied it about 12' up, easily 30' out...good times.

One good thing about a water shortage, you only have beer to drink.
