Will the champs be using these for the track layout this year?

http://www.teamcrc.com/crc/modules.p...article&sid=62

Seeing as CRC is still a main sponsor...

My only concern with them is that they will not stay put without sandbags, etc.

I design the tracks with some help of others and we never use sandbags

As far as I know we will use what we have been using which is 4x4 pvc with 2 pieces of 2x4 wood in them then screwed into the wood it won't move no worries.

If the track already has a "Paragon Groove" anything works on top of it. But on the whole, nothing works as well as Paragon. I've actually run other brands at Cleveland after a few rounds to free the car up a bit.

And yes, if you spec a compound it's the same for everyone. Unfortunately, if it the spec dope sucks, then you have a situation where the conditions suck for everyone. Kinda like rubber tire imo.

Is there a designated area to true down tires at the hotel...I read or heard that it wasn't allowed to be done in the rooms?

Ian is all about not running rubber.....That would explain his large family...........he's such a stud....
