DOES MOTOR TEMP CHANGE WITH SPUR SIZE
I am just wondering if you have the same final drive but change from small spur to big spur, will this change anything?
For example:
will you be slower through corners or faster?
will straight line speed change?
will your motor work less so will it run cooler or not

I would say no matter the ratio, with the taller spur the motor wont have to work as hard so therefore the temp would run cooler.
Good question.
That is pinion to spur ratio. If your running 10 to 1 it would run cooler than a 10 to 3. Tire diameter would make the roll out in gear?
I cant wait to hear responses on this question.

Ya I think that the motor will run at the same temperature if the final ratio stays the same. Both the pinion and spur have to spin the same number of times for one full rotation. I am pretty sure that's the right answer but I could be wrong.
