Default HPI Sprint 2

I could use some suggestions. I just bought a HPI Sprint 2 electric RTR. The problem I'm having is after running for awhile when I stop the car it won't move again. Sometimes if I give it a push it'll take off and be fine other times it won't run again for awhile. I thought there was dirt in the motor so I clean it and it ran for awhile but same thing happen again. I thought it was a heat problem but its relativly cool out and nothing feels warm. Not sure what else it could be. Any help advice would be nice.

Sounds to me like your motor could do with a skimming. I'd also replace the brushes.

If you ask you local hobby store, they may be able to service your motor for you. It shouldn't cost much, maybe $10.

He means to resurface the commutator on the armature.
Also it could be as simple as a motor brush spring, hes right though if your not sure take it to the local track or hobby shop they will dial it in for ya.
