They look like regular-sized touring tires to me, based on the scale of the whole thing. In fact most of the suspension components seem to be sized about the same, the chassis is considerably shorter, though.

just think of the tao4ss its a shorter chassis also, but this just shortens chassis legnth by 2 cells everything else is the same

I hope some other makers jump on this scale. It would make those small indoor tracks more fun. And these would be cheaper to run too, 4 cell is the way to go.

it s far smaller than a ta04ss, it is like a m04l !
i tried 1/10 wheels on my mini rs4, looks strange for the scale but handles very well !

Yokomini
Well, I don't know what class I can race it in, but I bought one anyway.
Here's some detail pics for those who haven't been able to see one close up yet (which is most people!) It's a really cool little car I can tell you

Shame, looks like there's no hidden way of fitting 6 cells, unless you built a 4+2 hump and taped it on.
Typically brilliant Yokomo detail and quality though!

I don't see the lack of provision for 6 cells as a problem. As far as I'm concerned I'll be treating it like a 12th scale, 4 cells and say a 12 turn motor. I'm sure that's going to be quick enough anyway!
Certainly a lot of other people down here have expressed a desire to buy one now that they've seen mine in the flesh.

It seems like this hopefully will be the next progression in 12th scale. Anyone in southern california got one of these yet and ran it at socal or elsewhere?
